Parupalli Sri Ranganath

The Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Temple in McKinney was enveloped in divine melodies on a serene evening, as the accomplished Parupalli Sri Ranganath graced the event with his vocal performance. Accompanied on the mridangam by the talented Chidatma Datta Chaganti, the concert was nothing short of magical, blending devotion and artistry into an unforgettable experience.

Capturing the Moment: Photography by Madhu

No concert of this grandeur is complete without a lens to capture its essence, and we were fortunate to have the gifted Madhu behind the camera. His photography preserved the beauty of the event, ensuring that every soulful note and heartfelt expression was immortalized.

A Special First for My Microphone (CAD Equitek E40)

I am personally honored that Sri Ranganath used my microphone for his singing. This microphone, which had just been delivered, debuted at this auspicious concert. Knowing it was blessed by such divine music makes it a treasure I’ll always cherish. To me, it now holds a special, sacred touch that goes beyond its material value.

An Evening of Annamacharya and Shiva Compositions

Sri Ranganath’s performance began with timeless Annamacharya compositions, steeped in devotion and lyrical beauty. His rendition of Govinda Namalu, for which he is celebrated across the world, filled the temple with an indescribable energy of reverence and joy. As the evening progressed, the concert transitioned to a heartfelt Shiva song, perfectly aligning with the Rudrabhisekham ritual that the temple was performing as part of the auspicious Karthika Masam. Being a Monday, dedicated to Lord Shiva, the combination of the music and ritual created an ethereal atmosphere.

Gratitude to the Pillars of the Event

This event would not have been possible without the collective efforts and support of many individuals. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to:

Ravindra from AIKYA432Hz Band for his indispensable help with the audio equipment, ensuring the sound quality matched the divine vibes of the concert.

Sameera Sripada, for recommending me to be a part of this special event. Your trust means so much!

Priest Narasimha Murty Garu, for providing the temple space and facilitating this spiritual gathering.

Chidatma Datta Chaganti: Mastering the Rhythm

Chidatma’s mridangam accompaniment was extraordinary, complementing Sri Ranganath’s soulful singing. His rhythmic expertise enriched the concert and heightened the emotional depth of every song.

A Concert to Cherish Forever

Sri Parupalli Ranganath, as the asthana musician of Tirupati Temple, brought with him a wealth of tradition and spirituality. Experiencing his live performance in our temple was a blessing beyond words. His voice, resonating through the temple, uplifted every heart present.

It was a night of divine music, heartfelt devotion, and community spirit. My newly inaugurated microphone, the mesmerizing vocals, the divine ambiance of Karthika Masam, and Madhu’s skillful photography combined to create an unforgettable evening.

Here’s to cherishing such moments and continuing to celebrate the rich legacy of our music and traditions. Sri Govinda! Har Har Mahadev!
