A Spark of Inspiration: The Making of a Spontaneous Video - Ye Dil Tum Bin

Sometimes, creativity strikes when you least expect it, and this project is a perfect example of that magic. It all started with a spark in Kamakshi’s mind. On her way to Walmart, she spotted a location that ignited an idea for a song and a video. That single moment of inspiration turned into an impromptu shoot that we’re thrilled to share with you.

The Plan Comes Together
The day began with a simple message from Kamakshi: “Do you have some time this afternoon?” Luckily, my schedule was open, and we quickly set a plan in motion. By 3:00 PM, we were on location, ready to bring her vision to life. A big shoutout to Uncle and Aunty (Kamakshi’s parents) for stepping in to assist with the gear and sound setup—they were the unsung heroes of the day!

The Shoot
With just the two of us—artist and videographer—we set out to create something special. The location was beautiful but posed its own set of challenges. We wrestled with changing light conditions and ND filter adjustments, but persistence paid off. We managed to capture the essence of Kamakshi’s vision despite the hurdles.

The Final Touches
After the shoot, Kamakshi sent over the final audio track, which was layered seamlessly onto the visuals during post-production. The result? A video that’s as spontaneous and raw as the inspiration behind it.
