Seetha Chandrashekhar

is the Artistic Director of the Gana Amruta Center for Performing Arts and a talented Carnatic music artist. She began her musical training under Vidwan Shri. Palanichamy Bhagavathar of Watrap, performing at prestigious temple events and the Thiruvaiyyaru Thyagaraja Aradhana. For advanced training, she studied with Sangeet Saamraat Shri. Chitravina Ravikiran, where she refined her skills and produced the audio CD “Gana Sankalpam.”

Seetha regularly performs in cities across the USA and India, earning recognition through grants from Texas Folk Life, where she is a Master Artist. Her musical achievements include the “Dronachaarya Award” and performances at renowned events like the Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival. She also teaches Carnatic music online, with lessons available on the Bharatiya Kala Samskruti YouTube Channel.

As a mentor, Seetha supports her students in cultural performances, temple events, competitions, and guiding them through their Carnatic Vocal Arangetram. Her dedication to Carnatic music and commitment to nurturing new talent mark her as a significant figure in the art form.
