🎥 Video: Must be filmed on a smartphone (No cameras allowed!)
📏 Resolution: 1080P, 24P or 60P
📝 Subtitles: Required
📝 Orientation: Vertical/Horizontal (Vertical Preferred)
📝 Duration: 60 Seconds and Under
📝 Music: An. (non-copyrighted preferred)

Ad Film Contest – FAQ
1. What is the Ad Film Contest about?
This contest challenges you to create a short advertisement (under 1 minute) for a business, product, or anything you imagine! You can choose a real product/business (with permission) or make one up. It’s all about storytelling and creativity!
2. Who can participate?
Anyone with a smartphone and a passion for creating engaging videos can join! No prior filmmaking experience is needed.
3. What are the video format requirements?
• Duration: Up to 1 minute
• Orientation: Vertical (social media-friendly) or Horizontal
• Resolution: 1080P
• Frame rate: 24P or 60P
• Subtitles: Required (any language allowed)
4. Can I use a professional camera?
🚫 No! This contest is strictly for smartphone filmmaking. Videos shot with professional cameras will be disqualified.
5. What apps can I use to film?
You can use any app to record, but we recommend the free Blackmagic Camera App for high-end features.
6. Can I use special effects or editing software?
Yes! You can edit, color grade, and add effects using any software. However, the footage must still be originally captured on a smartphone.
7. Can I work in a team?
Absolutely! You can collaborate with friends, but only one person should submit the video under their name.
8. Can I submit multiple entries?
Yes, you can submit more than one video, but each entry must be unique and follow the contest rules.
9. What if my video features a real business or product?
If you are promoting a real business, you must have permission from the business owner before submitting your video.
10. Can I submit an already existing film?
✅ Yes! As long as it meets all the contest requirements, you are welcome to submit a film you’ve already created.
11. Will you provide any help with editing, color grading, or background music?
While we won’t directly assist, we can recommend resources and professionals to help enhance your video.
12. What is the deadline to register and submit?
• Last date to register: March 31, 2025
• Last date to submit video: June 15, 2025
• Results announced: Late June / Early July 2025 (TBD)
13. How do I register?
