Shyam’s mastery, cultivated under mentors such as Srinagaraj Bhagwatar and Vidwan Abhilash Giriprasad, shone as he expertly wove compositions from legends like Muthuswamy Dikshitar into the night’s tapestry. Joined by violinist Swapanthi Mallajosyula and mridangist Ramakrishna Neti, their performance was not just a display of talent but a celebration of cultural heritage. The recital, held at the Hanuman Temple, was a simple yet heartfelt performance by students under the guidance of Guru Seetha. Accompanied by experienced musicians Raju Balan and Samarth Srinivas on mridangam and her son, Neeraj Chandrashekhar, on the violin, the event showcased the dedication and talent of the students, making for an engaging and memorable concert. Both Raju Balan and Samarth Srinivas provided mridangam accompaniment, adding to the overall musical depth of the recital.
